Today's Latin Lesson |1.5 |

Oratio Dominica / The Lord's Prayer

Pater noster, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum.
Adveniat regnum tuum.
Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra.
Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie,
et dimitte nobis debita nostra
sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.
Et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo.
Amen.

Father,

instead of:

panem nostrum quotidianum

the OCP book has

panem nostrum cotidianum

typo, or ??

All of my written sources render it quotidianum though the following may confuse:

Latin: cotidie = daily, every day

Latin: quotiens = often

Italian: quotidiano = daily

Great question! Thanks.
